This is the sixth out of the cohort’s seven roundtables. In this course, you will meet one simple question: what is the purpose of an entrepreneurship course? You will discuss and problematise this highly nuanced issue and touch upon the fundamental ethics, philosophies, and ideologies behind teaching entrepreneurship.
Intended learning outcomes
At the end of the course, you will have expanded your teaching knowledge by having discussed the following:
- The pitfalls and merits of entrepreneurship education in a context of change in the employment landscape and sustainability challenges
- The purpose of entrepreneurship outside its neoliberal origins and ethical limitations
- The purpose of entrepreneurship education compared with the purpose of other disciplines within the aim to support individuals in building a character that accepts responsibility
